Registering DVDRemaster 4

  • First, make sure you have the latest version of DVDRemaster.
  • You should have received your registration number. Registration numbers for DVDRemaster 4 look like this (the actual length may vary):
      Sample DVDRemaster (Standard) 4.x registration number:
    DVR4-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    Sample DVDRemaster (Pro) 4.x registration number:
    DVP4-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX     		 

    If your registration number does not start with DVR4 or DVP4, it is not a registration number for DVDRemaster 4. For instance, numbers starting with DVR3 or DVP3 are for version 3, DVR2 or DVP2 are for version 2 and those starting with DVR1 are for version 1. If you have a license for DVDRemaster 3, you may be entitled to a free upgrade to version 4. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a new license for version 4.

  • Double-click on DVDRemaster to launch it. It will ask you to enter your registration information:

  • Enter your name and registration number exactly as they were sent to you. The easiest way is to copy/paste them into the registration box:

  • If DVDRemaster rejects your registration number, you may try deleting its preference file located at /Users/YOU/Library/Preferences/com.metakine.dvdremaster.plist and trying again.
